Age Defying Secrets!!
So one day last week I was watching Dr. Oz on channel 5. He was talking about age defying secrets and home remedies. One of the things he said took the dry skin off your face and kept you collegen up so you dont get wrinkles is a mixture of honey and dry esspresso. I decided just to buy the stuff and try it one day. Well Katie came to my house the Sunday night and I made her, against her will, put it on her face. It's supposed to stay on for twenty minutes and after ten she was screamed that her face was itching. I made her keep it on anyway. I got off my couch when the time was up and casually stretched and she asked if I was washing it off and of couse I said no. She knew I was lying so she jumped up and chased me to the bathroom, but I locked her out. After a few minutes of her cussing me like a rabid dog I let her in. I washed mine off first and my skin felt really smooth. Well when she went to wash hers off it got in her eyes and I was pokin her arm and kickin her (softly) because she couldn't see me. Everytime I did something to her she would swing at me, always missing. She finally fell on the floor and laid there. It was sooo funny! But I helped her up and she got it all off her face, but it was all over my floor, my sink, my mirror, my walls, and somehow in my bathtub. Who knows...it's Katie! =)

Rest In Peace Christopher H
Saturday night at 6:30 Christopher Harthorn went missing. He was a fifteen year old mentally challenged boy from Marissa, Illinois. He was last seen riding his bicycle along Route 13. He always rode his bike. My friend Cassie lives a block from his house and he would ride for hours. Up and down the rode without a care in the world. He waved everytime he rode by, which was once about every two minutes. He has the mental capacity of a seven year old, suffered from bipolar disorder, and was manic depressive. It was very sad to hear that he was missing. Search groups formed immediately and went on all day and night. He had run away before but never for this long, but everyone knew he was ok. It was like you could just tell he was fine, but scared and he wanted to come home. Yesterday evenning there was an alert on the news that said a body was found in a pond in Marissa and was thought to be the body of the missing child. They later verified that saying that he was found by a farmer in his pond. His jeans were laying by the pond and his bike was in there with him. They are doing the autopsy today, but they feel there was no foul play involved. I feel quite differently. His father said that when he misses his medicine that he gets angry and very frightened. I dont see him riding his bike in the lake, especially with no pants on. I think something happened to that poor little kid that Saturday night and if it did I hope they find whomever it was that did it. Noone deserves to loose their life like that, especailly this friendly, helpless little boy. Rest In Peace Chris...You're Gone But Not Forgotten.

Fun lab days with Speedy!
So when Raven and I get to school every Tuesday and Thursday the first place we go is the computer lab. and every Tuesday and Thursday morning the first person we see is.....guess.....SPEEDY! And I try to be nice and not say anything to him but the rocking back and forth and the squeaking chair and the laughing and the cough like he's trying to hide something just bugs me to NO END! I mean really..can 'what he's looking at' be that funny? For real? Because if it is I definately want to see it. Then again I think that if he thinks it's that funny I probably dont want my brain cells to fry anymore than they already are. And so I eventually lose my cool and tell him to shut it and stop rocking and this lasts for about 2 minutes and he looks at me all weird then he acts like noone is in there again. And he turns his computer like noone can see the screen, but the funny thing is I'M SITTING HERE WATCHING IT RIGHT NOW! He's not near as sneaky and what he thinks he is. Raven and Steve are in here along with two other people and we're all laughing at telling him to be quiet but does he listen...oh no. Not at all. So I know that everyone is writing about him but I dont care because maybe if the whole school is blogging about him and his porn habits they'll make him stop and I can take my quizzes and write my English 101 papers without hear a HAHAHA...SQUEAKY SQUEAK SQUEAK every five minutes.

Marley!
Raven and I were coming to school this morning and on County Road 18 (the shooting complex road) I saw something run across the road. Of course when I said something Raven didn't see it. We stopped in the middle of the road and got out and was trying to coax it over to us. Finally it hunched down and took a dead run for the car. In he went! We knew absolutely nothing about this dog other than it was a boy, very malnutrition, and could have anything in the world wrong with it but she still didn't get why I didn't want to get in the car with it! She eventually talked me into it and then we had a dog that had no place to go. We decided to turn around and take him back to her mom's until we got back from school. He was shaking and was terrified but he made the ride home. About half way there we realized there was something red on her pants, my shirt, and all over the middle console. Blood. His ear is cut open and there is no skin on one of the pads on his front paw. So then we have blood on us and she's half my size so now I have a shirt on that’s too small and a dog that her mom doesn't want her to have. Great! But we've decided since in the past 4 days she's rescued two animals, a kitten and now the dog, and we should just open the Johnson's Wisdom Humane Society!

Oh what a night.
For Labor Day weekend my boyfriend and I went to Indiana to see his family. We arrived at his sister's around 10:00 p.m. to find noone home. YAY! His sister and her family came home in a drunken stooper about thirty minutes later..just long enough for me to crawl in bed and fall asleep. Great. They were so loud and obnoxious I think I could've slept in the truck and been better off. The next day we went to the party with them and of course my boyfriend was plastered in about two hours. After way to many shots of apple pie and cans of beer, being champion of three shotgun tourneys, and an unknown number of jello shots he was quite the character. By 1:00 a.m. he was falling over, laughing at trees, riding a 50 quad up and down hills, and scaring little kids. We finally got him to his sister's where he was unattended on the porch for a maximum of 5 minutes, not that long to be alone right? WRONG. By the time we got back out there he passed out, fell out of his chair and landed on the concrete. Like the song says...kick um when there down. No, we didn't leave him out there but there were tons of great stories the next day!
