Age Defying Secrets!!
So one day last week I was watching Dr. Oz on channel 5. He was talking about age defying secrets and home remedies. One of the things he said took the dry skin off your face and kept you collegen up so you dont get wrinkles is a mixture of honey and dry esspresso. I decided just to buy the stuff and try it one day. Well Katie came to my house the Sunday night and I made her, against her will, put it on her face. It's supposed to stay on for twenty minutes and after ten she was screamed that her face was itching. I made her keep it on anyway. I got off my couch when the time was up and casually stretched and she asked if I was washing it off and of couse I said no. She knew I was lying so she jumped up and chased me to the bathroom, but I locked her out. After a few minutes of her cussing me like a rabid dog I let her in. I washed mine off first and my skin felt really smooth. Well when she went to wash hers off it got in her eyes and I was pokin her arm and kickin her (softly) because she couldn't see me. Everytime I did something to her she would swing at me, always missing. She finally fell on the floor and laid there. It was sooo funny! But I helped her up and she got it all off her face, but it was all over my floor, my sink, my mirror, my walls, and somehow in my bathtub. Who knows...it's Katie! =)

I love Dr. Oz. I have never heard of the honey and espresso though. There are so many remedies that are supposed to be really good for your skin. I haven’t ever personally tried any of them, but I know a lot of people that swear by them. My friend has a book of natural remedies, and there was a clay mask recipe that had honey in it, and she said that it made her skin so smooth. I would like to find something that really does work because I definitely do not want to get wrinkles any time soon!
ReplyDeleteSo in my anatomy and physiology class we learned all of the layers of the skin, in example, the dermis, epidermis, and hypodermis. Your Epidermis is the top layer, and all it is is dead skin cells piled on top of each other. the dermis is where, if the wrinkle cream is to work, needs to get to. Most of the creams and things we get and buy smooth out the skin because they get stuck in your face cracks and smooth out the dead cells already there and make them go away, but it is only for a while, because they never reach the dermis, sorry haley!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting ladies!! I wasnt trying to get rid of wrinkles CODY, I was trying to make my face smooth..and it worked! Dont make me beat you up in your sleep because I know where you live still. lol and Sara..Isn't Dr. Oz the best! He always gives ya good advice on things and a lot of them work. It's dry espresso and honey. You dont need a lot and it doesnt spread easily over your face..for future reference. =) but it was still fun and yes Katie, you can ask Chad. It was on the outside side of the tub by the wall, and on the wall, and the sink, and the floor because Chelsea ate it! But I still love ya!
